Of course Cameron wasn’t the first. He was sued by Harlan Ellison and lost (an acknowledgment to Harlan appeared in the end credits of Terminator after the case). Has any Cameron idea been original?
Wow. So Jim Cameron wasn’t the first to send an auto-man back in time to fiddle with the future?! Despite the violent overtone, I have always loved the general idea of the Terminator. I wonder if Jim actually worked on this film for Corman?
