One of the most wonderful sci-fi films ever made. I saw this at the cinema with my mates when it first came out – all of us smiled all the through it, and laughed and cried. Beautiful, beautiful movie (God how I miss the 80’s!!!)
And James Horner’s first big, big score. One of his best; the end title music still brings tears to my eyes
