The 1976 teleplay was banned from British TV screens but a new film version was made with Sting as the ‘demonic’ youth. Sting is good in this. He was also good in Dune. Mr Sting could have been a really decent actor. Presumably he stopped acting when his narcissistic ego became far too heavy a weight for any subsequent film productions to carry. Thanks, RL!
