If Luis Bunuel decided to make a slasher film, it would look like “Black Christmas.” This is the finest film of it’s genre without comparison. And that is because this isn’t just a horror movie; it’s actual art. It’s a thing of beauty. Carpenter’s “Halloween” might be a classic…but it’s not even in the same league as this 1974 masterpiece..
I love this movie… Waaaay ahead of its time.
