Those two directors couldn’t be more different. I’m guessing this is something that Cassavetes started and Bergman finished? Regardless, I am sure this has a curious production history.
yeah I am pretty sure that was the case. I think John thought he could be a director for hire but either he couldn’t handle it or he was already too ill.
