Masterful and unforgettable comedy. This, “Limonádový Joe” and “Tajemství Hradu v Karpatech” are likely the funniest czechoslovakian movies, ever.
Not sure how well it carries in translated form. Also it builds on czech impressions of old pulp crime/adventure literature and heroes, so part of the poetics and silliness will probably not hit the required neurons for foreign viewers.
