Thank you Rarelust! A high definition version of the most historically accurate movie about the sinking of the RMS Titanic, and the SS California which saw the rockets overhead and did very little to investigate the reason for their being shot into the sky. The film starts with a the Titanic being christened and the real ship was just launched into the water, (the White Star Line did not christen their ships), and that’s about the only thing that is shown in the movie that does not hold up in 2017. There is no partial split of the Titanic as it’s sinking in the movie either. Filmed in almost documentary style and the length of the film is about how long it took the real ship to sink after the collision with the iceberg, A Night to Remember is one of the best movies about a real event and real people ever filmed. Those people who want a love story Titanic movie should look elsewhere. This is for people who a historically accurate movie that really gives the “you are there as it happened” feeling.
