Whichever Western or Kurosawa movie this is derived from it has everything for me: (1) FANTASY – when I see movies on here tagged with that genre I’m disappointed if it’s not swords and tits and maybe a dragon if they’re available. (2) DAVID CARRADINE – big fan of his starting from when I watched the Kung Fu TV Series in the 70s til Tarantino’s Kill Bill. He can do no wrong in my eyes despite the messy death. So this movie delivers bigtime. Thanks RL, and thanks again for the impressive upgrade
I’ll give it a shot. I love remakes like “Star Wars” (also based on a Kurosawa film: “The Hidden Fortress”). All great films, especially westerns, are remakes of something else, usually easterns.
Cheap old copy of Star wars with tits and bikini girls
Sounds good to me!
Really it’s nothing at all like “Star Wars”. Actually it’s a remake of Sergio Leone’s 1964 Spaghetti Western, “A Fistful of Dollars”, starring Clint Eaatwood, which is a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s 1961 film, “Yojimbo”.
One of my favorite flicks. Thanks!
Mine too. I must’ve watched it at least 10 times. This is really a remake of the Western, a “A Fistful of Dollars” (1964) starring Clint Eastwood.
