Up and coming Marie-France Pisier makes a nice object of desire otherwise audiences at that time seem to have had completely forgotten the ’30s peerless Fritz Lang/Peter Lorre films of this kind, we’re very lucky such pre-WW2 films are now HD restored and widely available.
