Thanks RL!
Thanks a lot for the upgrade. This is one of those movies I must watch from time to time. Maybe the finest Ava Gardner interpretation (second best in my opinion is Mogambo).
A lot of gems this week, hats off to you, sir.

This is the greatest Richard Burton movie in my humble opinion, and I think IMHO it’s my favorite Ava Gardener later-life movie too. And Deborah Kerr is amazing too, since I’m a man who thinks… what is better in your life, Ava Gardener or Deborah Kerr’s characters… And finally, it’s John Houston’s greatest film as a director, although several others are so strong, it’s hard to say.
I’m lucky enough in my life to have friends with a pool, and the refrain “Pool Boys” with marachas makes us all laugh.
One of the greatest play to film translantions, in a seaside in Mexico that Houston and Company made real and sweaty and truly one of the greatest films ever made.
Everything I said is right, but my spelling sucks.
