Poor Sylvia Kristel, by the end of the 1980s she was desperately in need of roles and money and thus she starred in the kind of films that are actually worth a watch because they are so bad. The Arrogant is no exception, although it is rather pretty photographed. I have the impression this could be a try to copy or rip-off David Lynch’s surreal style, “Blue Velvet” actually came out the year before.
Nevertheless, respect goes to Rarelust again for sharing a rare film in good quality.
