thank you very much for this…
there appears to be another movie with the same name and year from the UK !
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0182406/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_1
that appears to be called ‘Satan’s Castle’ rather than ‘Satan’s Children’
Thanks for the upgrade.
Now we’re talkin! This starts out like an afterschool special crossed with a ‘stranger danger’ educational short then enters ‘Deliverance’ territory THEN turns into a satanic cult flick! Its got everything plus the lead actor playing Bobby has all the charisma of Jerry Mathers as The Beaver. I laughed, winced, cringed… then watched it again! Not to be missed!
This one is one of my absolute favorite weirdo regional horrors EVER. I played my Something Weird VHS version out and was really pleased to see it get the AGFA treatment… I already have this one on physical media, but its highly recommended to anyone curious. It has no budget, terrible acting and lousy FX… but there’s something really dark and weird at the heart of this flick that keeps you hooked. I’d love to see a remake with modern day meth addled Florida teens worshipping satan and crucifying their enemies, that would be badass.
