A 1:29 min. uncut print of this was finally found in 1999, still waiting for a re-release.
A great ‘Dark Shadows’ ghost story ! A shame however that the studio never made the effort to release the 122 minutes director Dan Curtis’ cut..

This version has been edited, twice. Once by Dan Curtis when he was told to make it shorter ( edited from 129 mins to 97 mins ) .. then again by some no name at the studio that decided to remove an additional 4 mins knocking it down to 93 mins. The 97 min version is rare but its out there … and the 129 min version was thought lost but was recently ‘ discovered ‘ ( according to IMDB )
