  1. Robert Mondoux says:

A very memorable film, mostly thanks to Christopher Plummer’s excellent villain. and DESPITE Elliott Gould’s habitually sleepy and uninteresting performance. As most 70s movies, could use 15 minutes cut out of the middle, but a very enjoyable thriller. recommended. Thanks Rarelust.

    Superb, thank you

  3. Phaota says:

Commentary is with film historians Howard S. Berger, Steve Mitchell (producer/director of “King Cohen”) and Nathaniel Thompson (editor of the Mondo Digital website).

  4. thomas pedersen says:

Actually filmed first as : Tænk på et tal (1969)
Both movies are based on a novel by Anders Bodelsen.

  5. swanstep says:

Very clever script by Curtis Hanson; it was the first sign he might have an L.A. Confidential-level achievement in him. 3 leads are all great & Celine Lomez, who should have been bigger, stuns in a crucial supporting role. TSP is a true, largely forgotten ’70s gem. Not to be missed!
