Almost all of the actors and crew died of complications from the filming of this movie in atom bomb testing site. Yikes
Of the 220 cast and crew, 91 developed cancer, and 46 later died. The rate of smoking/drinking were certainly a factor, however the individuals had various cancers, such as stomach, brain, and ueterine.
