Was this colorized robotically, that is by AI algorithms? The process isn’t quite there yet. (Flesh-not flesh).

  2. dmiller says:

edited to say: In my opinion COLORIZED version is very far from an improvement.

  3. dmiller says:

Please, can you provide the B&W version. Colorizing is very distracting. And it has been since TCM first introduced it. In my opinion B&W is very far from an improvement. Never the less thank you for this version and the effort put into it.

    Great! Thanks!
The colors are great in this movie. An improvement for the original version.

  5. OSMOSIS says:

All the times seeing this on TV, I always thought that it was in B&W–but the eye-popping color is amazing. I know what I’m DOWNLOADING!! Thanks, Rarelust.

    • Matthew Hewitt says:

It should be B&W, this version has been colorized.

      • Joe says:

Producer Merrian C Cooper intended for She to be shot in color but RKO cut the film’s budget so it ended up being filmed in black and white. Ray Harryhausen supervised the colorization so She is a different situation than something like It’s A Wonderful Life or Night of the Living Dead that never had any business being in color.
