Looks like once every decade we need an iconic junkie-movie like “Christiane F” in the 80s, Trainspotting in the 90s or Requiem for a Dream in 2000, each time with attractive, trendy characters and hip contemporary music. “More” from 1969 may still be known because of Pink Floyds involvement in the soundtrack. The historical context of the blooming hippie culture makes “More” relevant. And the pretty, delicate actress Mimsy Farmer (who played in another hippie-movie “Riot on Sunset” in 1967) https://rarelust.com/riot-on-sunset-strip-1967/ as temptress in more than one way is also worth a watch. I don’t understand why “More” has not been subbed and or dubbed in English and German as both languages are spoken, the only available subs are horrible.
    Thanks for sharing.

Look no further than Andy Warhol’s Trash (1970). As for Pink Floyd, who knows in what state of confusion they were in 1969 with Syd Barrett just collapsed to give their songs away. RL can you find Barbet Schroeder’s “Amin Dada: A Self-portrait” (1974)?

Thanks for this but am I having difficulty with the subtitles – they are out of sync with the film and, as it is only part English, it makes it impossible to watch. I have tried different movie players but they all seem to be the same.
