Key of Keys (1965)

Directed by: Senkichi Taniguchi

Stars: Tatsuya Mihashi, Akiko Wakabayashi, Mie Hama

Language: Japanese

Country: Japan | Imdb Info | tvrip

Also known as: Kokusai himitsu keisatsu: Kagi no kagi

Description: The plot of the film is a bit hard to understand, and that’s saying something because not all of it is in Japanese (there are many instances of characters speaking broken English). It appears to be about some dispute over a strip of microfilm or something. This film is a comedic action thriller

At last, The all 5 Kokusai himitsu keisatsu series DVD will release in Japan this August without subs

  2. From Chicago says:

Thanks. Hopefully English subs will turn up eventually.

  3. aatuliluu says:

Could you please let me knwo where to get the English subtitles for this movie? I know they exists / were done a year or so ago..

  4. Frank says:

Fantastic! without that stupid W. Allen crap. If only the original producers knew how many people would like to see a restored and subbed version of these Kokusai himitsu keisatsu films!

  5. Mark Martucci says:

Thanks so much for this. Any chance of putting up the other 4 films in the Kokusai himitsu keisatsu series. I especially want to see The Killing Bottle which is the 5th and footage from it was also used by Woody Allen for What’s Up Tiger Lilly.

  6. Dan says:

Delightfully goofy on it’s own w/o Woody Allen’s help. Thanks.

  7. Vallaor says:

Thanks! I was wondering how the original looks like. With English subs and better transfer it would be enjoyable spy comedy!

  8. max says:

One of the source movies for What’s Up, Tiger Lily! Brilliant! Got the other? It was one of this Kagi no Kagi series. Meanwhile, is the description above your own or did it come with the movie? Is it possible the movie’s provider doesn’t realize that Phil Moskowitz and the whole egg salad plot was a Woody Allen joke superimposed on the original flic?

  9. OSMOSIS says:

“Hayata” from ULTRAMAN, Akiko Wakabayashi and Mie Hama in the same picture—who needs subs when you got THEM? Awesome and fun!!! Thanks, guys.
