Agree with the last comment, yet DHRFTG was the movie that grossed more than all previous Dracula movies before and deserved Hammer their Queen’s Award for Industry! Surely because of that ingenious (though slightly misleading) ad campaign… For those who had risen and were alive and walking (obviously) in the seventies, you probably remember the first TV broadcast of this masterpiece on CBS that occurred RIGHT AFTER Nixon’s farewell and apologies speech! How bizarre (and appropriate)! I shall never forget it… Enjoy Lee at his finest, Carlson at her most beautiful and all the rest of the cast at the top of their game, as is the case with all Hammer productions. Oh and that staking scene in the casket! Worth the price of admission alone…

Tremendous film, one of the sort that you’re always searching for but seldom find – next Saturday evening is programmed!

  3. OSMOSIS says:

THIS!! Is!!! Sir Christopher Lee!!! Man, when I was in 8th grade, our principal–in saying “Thank You” to his students–called an all-school assembly and turned the auditorium into a Movie Theater…showing THIS!! In all it’s eye-popping glory. Dude set us all off with this movie, because it was Christopher Lee at his suavest, regal, Dracula-Best!! Thank You, Rarelust.

  4. Vallaor says:

Great movie, superb quality!!! The poster is hilarious, as for some comedy – yet the movie is nothing but.
