One Response to Digital Man (1995)

Nice movie! (Actually, don’t be fooled by the screenshot, it is the only breasts you’ll see and it lasts like 3sec)

It’s kind of a stereotypic version of late 80s – early 90s action movies, with a corrupted general, a courageous team of testosterone-filled muscular men (and women, with a black and a chinese for the sake of completeness), righteous officers, all against (or for, regarding the corrupted general) a run-amok killing machine (the DIGITAL MAN!) in the middle of nowhere (white trash included!).

The whole thing is served by dynamic camera movement, terrific 3D cutscenes which will remind you of a (kinda amateurish) video game intro cinematic (think of Doom 3, Duke Nukem 3D or Deus Ex), and enlivened by a lot of humour. Also let’s not forget the iconic soundtrack, cooked with typical 80s atmospheric synths and the famous war-movies dramatic snare on eerie / dramatic synth waves…

The result if very fun to watch for who worships B movies!
